My soul desires for peace,
In need of soul-friendly place,
Where troubled heart finds solace,
My soul’s resting place.
Life is full of uncertainties,
As dream heading to weird vanities.
Man’s life is like a passing shadow,
Who can boast of tomorrow?
As I live in this troubled world,
Not a friend but enemy of the world,
Guided by the Holy Ghost,
Living by God’s Word.
What a joy! What a delight of soul!
When I’ll see Jesus, the Savior of my soul.
What a wonderful resting place!
In Heaven, I’ll take my rest.
